He has particular experience in areas such as overseas investment in Japan, inbound and outbound immigration as well as M&A. Before he founded his firm (e2 Tax), he worked for Deloitte and EY in Tokyo (11 years) and New York (7 years).

Over 20 years of experience as a CPA including experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Tokyo and KPMG New York. In recent years, Koji has been putting more focus on his CFO Service where he provides advice to the CEO of US subsidiaries (of Japanese companies) from the perspective of a de-facto CFO (Chief Financial Officer), in addition to traditional U.S. tax and US-Japan cross-border tax service for individuals, and accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, & other back-office support for businesses in the U.S.
